The World Federation of Trade Unions on behalf of its 95 million workers in 130 countries condemns once again the prevailing situation in the factories of Bangladesh and the lack of even the most fundamental safety measures.

At least 8 garment workers, were injured as a fire broke out in a garment factory in the capital of Bangladesh which was closed back to 2014 because of the undertrained prevailed safety measures and infrastructure.

The factory war re-opened and re-functioned without the implementation of the necessary remediations. Years after the crime in Rana Plaza the garment workers are still exposed to fatal dangers, trying to earn their livelihood.
