The World Federation of Trade Unions on behalf of its 95 million workers in 130 countries of the 5 continents expresses its internationalist solidarity with the struggles of the chemist warehouse workers in a number of distribution centres who are raising their voice demanding better working conditions and dignified salaries.

The main issues that are faced by the workers are underpayment,  flexible working terms, non-permanent employment status for the majority and unacceptable unsafe working environment with several incidences of intimidation and harassment of various kinds.

The International class-oriented trade union movement joins its voice with the Australian Chemist Warehouse workers demanding the full covering of the workers demands without exemption or exceptions.
