Israel’s far-right Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has joined the United States, Canada, and some countries of Latin America and Europe in recognizing the new pro-imperialist leadership in Venezuela. Netanyahu released in a short statement that he is siding with opposition leader Juan Guaidó as the country’s interim leader over socialist President Nicolas Maduro.

On Monday, the President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, led from the Simón Bolívar room of the Miraflores Palace, the reception ceremony to the diplomatic personnel who returned from the United States of America.

On January 24, the Venezuelan Head of State announced that the Venezuelan diplomatic mission in US territory would return to the country, after breaking diplomatic relations with the Trump government.

“The decision on the future of Venezuela must be made by the people of Venezuela”, Geng Shuang, spokesman for the Foreign Ministry of the People’s Republic of China, said Monday.

“China pays great attention to the current situation in Venezuela and supports the efforts of the Government of this country to guarantee state sovereignty, independence and stability”, Shuang said.

Communist Party of the Russian Federation in the strongest possible terms denounces the interference of the USA in the home affairs of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela in an attempt to subordinate it to the American interests alien to the Venezuelan people.

After the rupture of diplomatic and political relations by Venezuela with the government of the United States, the foreign minister of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Jorge Arreaza, informed that the officials of the diplomatic missions in the USA, are already in the South American country and for the moment, the possibility of establishing an office of interest as a communication channel to maintain minimum bilateral relations is analyzed.

The Foreign Minister of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Jorge Arreaza, ratified that the Venezuelan State will remain firm in its position of defending sovereignty and independence, attached to the Magna Carta and international law, therefore, seek to continue establishing mechanisms of dialogue that allow to resolve the existing political differences.

After the illegitimate self-proclamation of the deputy of the National Assembly in contempt, which showed the true intentions and the actors that are in front of the coup d’etat against Venezuela, the Foreign Minister of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Jorge Arreaza, described as incongruous the request made by some governments that “free elections” must take place.

The Workers Party of Ireland condemns the U.S. sponsored attempted coup against the democratically-elected government of Nicolás Maduro and the recognition of Juan Guaidó, who illegally and in contempt of the democratically expressed wishes of the people of Venezuela, announced himself as interim President of Venezuela, and received immediate recognition by the United States and its regional proxies Colombia, Brazil and other Lima Group nations.
