In reference to a message published by Executive Vice-president Delcy Rodríguez Gómez, through her Twitter account @DrodriguezVen, the People’s Power Minister for Foreign Relations, Jorge Arreaza, confirmed that they will present the evidence to the United Nations Organization (UN) that corroborate the support that the president of Colombia, Iván Duque, offers to terrorist groups with the intention of provoking acts of violence in Venezuela.

In his Twitter account @jaarreaza, the Venezuelan Foreign Minister denounced that this protection of the Colombian president to irregular groups violates Resolution 1,373 of the UN Security Council.

From the press room “Simón Bolívar” of the Miraflores Palace, the Vice-president of Communication, Culture and Tourism, Jorge Rodríguez, showed on Saturday new evidence of terrorist actions that Colombia was preparing against Venezuela.

Moscow expressed concern about the US government’s aggressions towards the Venezuelan people. In this regard, the spokeswoman for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia, María Zajárova, said Wednesday that “Washington’s unilateral measures contradict international law, create more and more obstacles to the supply of essential products to Venezuela, that obviously worsens the situation of all Venezuelan citizens regardless of their political preferences”.

Zajárova’s assertions take place after the administration of Donald Trump issued statements about new pressure options towards Caracas, which include a maritime blockade.

The new Vice-minister for Multilateral Issues of the People’s Power Ministry for Foreign Relations, Alexander Yánez, reported Tuesday that the Bolivarian Government in coordination with the United Nations System is developing a humanitarian response plan that will combat the devastating effects of coercive measures unilateral measures imposed by the United States government in important areas of national development.

The declaration was made by the Venezuelan authority after holding a meeting with representatives of all the agencies of the United Nations System (UN) for the second consecutive day.

This statement was approved by DSA’s National Political Committee (NPC).

The Bolivarian Government ratifies the convening of an extraordinary meeting of the Amazon Cooperation Treaty Organization (ACTO) in order to evaluate and coordinate concrete decisions to quell the fires that have affected the Brazilian Amazon for more than 20 days. This was confirmed on Tuesday, by the People’s Power Minister for Foreign Relations, Jorge Arreaza, through his Twitter account @jaarreaza, noting that the governments of the Amazon region must assume with ethics and responsibility the management and control of the damages of the devastating fires.
