Wie es unser Titel verspricht, möchten wir mit euch zusammen die Zukunft zurückerobern, indem wir unseren eigenen kleinen Teil dazu beitragen, der Klimakrise entgegenzutreten und uns anzuschauen, was gerade in unseren Ökosystemen und unserer Gesellschaft passiert und was noch passieren muss, um die Klimakrise zu einem Problem von Gestern zu machen. Also – wer ist alles dabei?🔥
Stefan Aykut wird morgen mit dem Thema „Klimakrise und gesellschaftlicher Wandel“ in die Klimaringvorlesung einleiten. Eine umfassende Problematik wie die Klimakrise verlangt nach einer ebenso umfassenden Antwort – und das auf gesamtgesellschaftlicher Ebene. Wie können wir also als Gesellschaft der Klimakrise begegnen und was muss sich in den nächsten Jahrzehnten ändern?
Stefan Aykut ist Professor für gesellschaftliche Dynamiken der ökologischen Transformation an der Uni Hamburg und forscht hier vor allem dazu, wie wir als Gesellschaft ökologischen Problemen begegnen. Hierfür hat er beispielsweise schon oft an der Weltklimakonferenz (COP) teilgenommen.

Stefan Aykut will introduce you to the lecture series with his lecture on the climate crisis and societal change. An all-encompassing issue like the climate crisis requires an equally all-encompassing answer – on all levels of society. What can we do as a society to face the climate crisis and what needs to change over the coming decades?
Stefan Aykut is Professor of Social Dynamic of Ecological Transformation at the University of Hamburg, where he primarily conducts research on how society responds to ecological problems. As part of his research, he frequently participates at the UN Climate Change Conferences (COPs).
